Ortho World is a centre for advanced orthopaedics, Ilizarov and limb reconstruction, with clinics in Patna and a trauma and multispeciality hospital in Hajipur. Founded by Dr. Shamsul Hoda, it treats limb shortening and deformity, complex trauma, bone infection and bone loss, and offers joint replacement, spine, sports injury and bone tumour care – supported by computer-assisted deformity planning, a multispeciality team and long-term follow-up.

Ilizarov & Limb Reconstruction
A dedicated centre for complex limb reconstruction — limb lengthening, deformity correction, bone transport, bone infection and more, using the Ilizarov method.
Limb Lengthening
Gradual, controlled lengthening of a short limb using the Ilizarov circular fixator or monolateral rail fixator, allowing bone to regenerate as the frame is adjusted.

A step-by-step process designed around your recovery.
Consultation & X-ray Assessment
A detailed clinical examination and X-ray review to understand the deformity, length discrepancy or bone problem and plan the treatment.
Computer-Assisted Planning
Your deformity or limb length difference is measured on full-length X-rays and your correction is planned digitally before surgery. We show you the planned correction on screen.
Surgery & Frame Application
The Ilizarov frame is applied under anaesthesia. The frame holds the bone in position and allows gradual, controlled adjustment after surgery.
Guided Adjustment, Physiotherapy & Follow-up
You adjust the frame at home as instructed. Regular clinic visits monitor progress. Physiotherapy keeps the joints moving. The frame is removed once the bone is solid.
